Wellbeing
At St Joseph's National School the wellbeing of every student is a central priority.
We actively engage with the wellbeing curriculum to support the social, emotional and mental development of our pupils, helping them to build resilience, confidence and positive relationships. We use programmes such as Weaving Wellbeing, A Lust for Life, Friends for Life, Fun Friends, Walk Tall, Stay Safe and our new Bí Cineálta policy to help us do this.
We also offer a range of additional initiatives and incentives for example Wellbeing Week, Friendship Fortnight and Yoga lessons, we encourage students to develop healthy habits, practice gratitude and recognise the importance of looking after their own wellbeing and that of others. By fostering a supportive and inclusive environment, we aim to ensure that every child feels valued , safe and empowered to thrive both in school and in their everyday lives.
This section will provide updates of events and activities happening in St Josephs NS as well as providing resources to engage with at home.
