Green Schools Update: Working Towards Our Global Citizenship – Travel Flag

Our Green Schools Committee has been busy working towards achieving the Global Citizenship – Travel Flag. As part of this initiative, the committee recently carried out a No Idling Survey around our school to see how many cars were leaving their engines running while waiting outside.

After reviewing the results, the students recognised that engine idling can contribute to air pollution and harm our environment. To help raise awareness, the committee designed a series of eye-catching posters encouraging everyone to switch off their engines while waiting.

By simply turning off car engines when parked or waiting at the school gates, we can reduce unnecessary emissions, improve air quality, and play our part in protecting the environment.

The Green Schools Committee would like to thank our school community for supporting this important initiative. Small actions can make a big difference!
